Cold-chain warehouses face more than low temperature. Moisture can condense when goods move between zones, temperature changes can affect sensors and electrical components, and frost can change how parcels contact belts, rollers or totes. Food and pharmaceutical operations also add stronger hygiene, batch and traceability requirements.
A cold-chain system should not simply copy an ambient conveyor design. The project should clarify suitable materials, condensation control, identification across temperature zones, maintenance exposure time, and how exceptions and batch records will be retained.
The goal is not simply higher speed. It is a stable order flow under low temperature, moisture, hygiene and traceability constraints.
What is your biggest challenge: frost, scanning, hygiene or maintenance?
